Welcome to My Health Copilot. By using this application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Medical Disclaimer

• This app is a personal health management tool designed to help you organize and track your medical information
• Information displayed in the app, including AI-generated summaries and medication descriptions, is for informational purposes only
• The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information in this app
• In case of a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately

AI-Generated Content: Summaries, medication descriptions, and other AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. Always verify important medical information with your healthcare provider.

2. Recording Consent and Legal Responsibility

Your Responsibility

When you use My Health Copilot to record medical appointments, you are solely responsible for obtaining proper consent from all parties being recorded.

Recording Laws Vary by Location

• United States: Recording consent laws vary by state. Some states require all-party consent (everyone must agree to be recorded), while others allow one-party consent (only you need to consent).
• Other Countries: Laws vary significantly. Some jurisdictions prohibit recording without explicit consent from all parties.

Before Recording

You should:

1. Inform your healthcare provider that you wish to record the appointment
2. Obtain their consent before starting the recording
3. Respect their decision if they decline
4. Understand and comply with local laws regarding audio recording

We Are Not Responsible

My Health Copilot provides recording functionality as a tool. We are not responsible for:

• Your compliance with applicable recording consent laws
• Any legal consequences resulting from recordings made without proper consent
• How you use, store, or share recorded content

3. User Responsibilities

By using My Health Copilot, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information: You are responsible for the accuracy of health data you enter
• Protect your device: Keep your device secure; your health data is protected by your device passcode and app authentication
• Use the app lawfully: Comply with all applicable laws, including recording consent laws
• Respect privacy: Do not use the app to record or store information about others without their consent
• Backup important data: While we encrypt your data, you are responsible for maintaining backups of critical health information

4. Limitation of Liability

No Warranties

My Health Copilot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy or completeness of transcriptions or AI summaries
• Fitness for a particular medical purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

• Any medical decisions made based on information in the app
• Inaccuracies in transcriptions, summaries, or AI-generated content
• Data loss due to device failure, user error, or other causes
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Your Sole Remedy

If you are dissatisfied with the app, your sole remedy is to stop using it and delete your account.

5. Intellectual Property

• My Health Copilot and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
• Your health data remains yours—we claim no ownership of information you enter into the app
• You may export your data at any time in standard formats

6. Data Deletion

All your data is stored locally on your device—we have no servers or cloud accounts.

To delete your data:

• Use "Clear All Data" in Privacy & Security settings, or
• Simply delete the app from your device

Either action permanently erases all health data, recordings, and transcriptions. No data is retained anywhere after deletion.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make significant changes:

• We will notify you through the app
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms
• If you disagree with changes, you may stop using the app and delete your data

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, without regard to conflict of law principles.
